The Biomicrofluidics Lab is currently looking for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoc researchers to join our group. Our research approach is multidisciplinary and so we except individuals from different backgrounds (engineering, physics, chemistry and cell biology).
I welcome anyone who is interested in my research. To apply, please send a cover letter, resume, and publications. In your cover letter, please indicate your research and career interests and their relevance to our lab's mission.
I am looking for students seeking Ph.D. degrees. Applicants with top rank and/or research experience in engineering (mechanical, chemical, material and electronic), physics (optical and thermal) and/or biology (cell biology and biophysics) are encouraged to apply. To apply, please include a cover letter, resume, and one or two sample class project reports for my review.
The aim is to give an undergraduate student an active learning experience that ties basic concepts to real problems for future careers in innovation. To set up an undergraduate research experience, please send me an email with a brief description of yourself and a transcript of your classes. It would be great helpful if you can state in your email research experiences you expect to acquire in my lab. Since we will train you in our protocols, we expect 10-15 hours of commitment to my lab per week for at least one semester.
